Our story

Hi, I’m Barbara, the creator of Cakes and More. We’re a small, passionate business based in Queens, New York.

My journey began in a cozy apartment, baking just for fun and for the people I love. I quickly discovered that baking was more than a hobby, it was a way to express myself. With the encouragement of my family, I decided to share my creations with others. From cookies and cupcakes to custom wedding cakes and sweet treats for every occasion, what started small has grown into something truly meaningful.

In addition to baking, I’ve always had a love for flower arranging and event planning. Working as a wedding planner, event coordinator, and florist helped me realized how much I enjoy creating beautiful, memorable experiences. There’s nothing quite like seeing someone’s face light up when their vision comes to life, whether it’s through a cake, a bouquet, or a perfectly planned celebration.
